What is a Local Action Group (LAG)?

The Ayrshire Local Action Group (LAG) is a strong and autonomous partnership, responsible for making its own decisions and reporting directly to the Scottish Government.

The Group operates collectively in pursuing the objectives of the strategy rather than its members representing individual organisational interests.

Each partner organisation will have an equal voice in decision making; the partnership will seek to reach all decisions by consensus insofar as is practicable.
